07/11/2013 - 6.30pm - Whale Ale Brewery, Lower Brailes

Organisers: SUBS

Brothers Tom (25) and Ed (22) Coyte of Whale Ale Brewery are hosting our next members’ meeting at their Lower Brailes site on November 7. It’s going to be popular, so book early!

The story of the brothers’ beer is one of rocketing success, from their first commercial production earlier this year to No 10 Downing Street in September, when they supervised Prime Minister David Cameron pulling his own pint of Whale Ale.

After months of trials and tribulations, the brothers opened their brewery for business in spring and quite apart from their two wonderful beers and working hard in the brewery themselves, they are kept busy marketing at beer and food festivals. They have also started bottling Pale Whale.

Come along and join us as we:

• Hear first hand how the youngest brewery owners in the country achieved all this in such a short space of time

• Listen as they share their experiences and the assistance they were given as young entrepreneurs and small business owners

• Take inspiration and learn from their useful tips for anyone thinking of setting up or expanding a business

• Taste their two trademark brews, Whale Ale and Ruby Ale

• Network with other local businesses from the Shipston and Stour Valley area

• Enjoy the beers and canapés afterwards

This is a members’ event, but the SUBs Committee extend a special invitation to anyone who is not currently a member. There will be plenty of Committee Members on hand to talk about SUBs, what we do and the many benefits that membership offers.

£5 for members, £7.50 for non-members (includes your first drink, canapés and a bottle of Pale Whale to take away with you to enjoy at home)
